Police Blotter: Unwanted Trash, Road Rage

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:

11:03 a.m. Someone drove away without paying for gas in Evergreen.

11:47 a.m. There was a wayward dog standing in the middle of the road near Underpass Hill.

3:05 p.m. A man called in to report that his ex-lady said she wanted someone to put a bullet in him. She has a restraining order against him and he wanted to make sure everyone knew that he wasn’t violating the order.

3:37 p.m. A woman on Caroline Drive reported that her neighbors had gathered up all their garbage and thrown it on their porch.

5:17 p.m. A man sank his jet ski near Woods Bay Point. He managed to make it to shore.

7:51 p.m. The myriad dogs on Haywire Gulch were making terrible barking noises.

7:53 p.m. A man called in to report that he was driving down McMannamy Draw when he had to stop for a semi that was blocking the road. An 80’s sports car pulled up behind him. According to the man the driver jumped out of his dated car, ran up to him and punched him.

8:42 p.m. A guy near Spencer Lake called in after taking his dog for a walk to report that he saw what looked like an old meth-lab. It turns out it was a small oil spill.

The departments responded to 153 calls for service.
