By Beacon Staff

HELENA — Gov. Steve Bullock and his wife Lisa made $176,000 last year and paid $32,000 in state and federal income taxes.

The Democratic governor recently released his 2012 tax returns to the public like other governors before him.

Bullock’s tax filings show the income from his post as attorney general that he held through last year. It also shows his wife Lisa’s income from her work as an information technology program manager, and a small amount of rental income.

The couple had typical deductions like real estate taxes and mortgage interest. The Bullocks also reported giving about $6,000 to charity.
