Investigator Hercule Poirot (Finney) is aboard the Orient Express when a fellow passenger, Samuel Ratchett, is found murdered. Widely despised, Rachett had many enemies, so Poirot must sift through an eccentric group of suspects to find the killer. Directed by Sydney Lumet. Rated PG, 127 minutes.

Cast: Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Martin Balsam, Ingrid Bergman, Jacqueline Bisset, Jean-Pierre Cassel, Sean Connery, John Gielgud, Wendy Hiller, Anthony Perkins, Vanessa Redgrave, Rachel Roberts, Richard Widmark, Michael York, Colin Blakely

A reminder that during June, July and August, the Museum’s free films move to the last Monday of the month (instead of the usual last Tuesday). This summer’s theme will focus on Who Dun Its, starting with “Absence of Malice” (’81) June 30, followed by “Murder on the Orient Express” (’74) July 28, and “The Sting” (’73) August 25.

Anyone may attend and there is no charge. Donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of acquiring and showing the films. The movie and popcorn are free, and wine, beer, pop and water will be for sale. Seating is provided, but people can also bring their own floor pillows, portable chairs, or whatever is comfortable for viewing the film.

The Museum at Central School is located at 124 Second Ave E., Kalispell. Call 756-8381 for more information.
