Traffic on U.S. Highway 2 west of Kalispell was blocked after a semi-truck collided with a passenger vehicle Monday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 2 and West Valley Drive shortly before 1:30 p.m. Monday. Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Rick Mehring said at least one person was transported to the hospital but the extent of the injuries was unknown. He said it appeared one of the vehicles failed to yield while turning and collided with the other.
Both lanes of traffic were open shortly before 2:30 p.m.
