The former owner of a Bigfork bar was given a 10-year suspended sentence on July 24 in Flathead County District Court, nearly a year after he sold cocaine to two undercover cops.

Earlier this year, Travis Edwin Martin pleaded guilty to four felony counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. According to court documents, Martin, who owned the Rendezvous Lounge, sold cocaine to two undercover cops on three different occasions last August and September. Martin’s provider, Phillip Michael Sowder, was also charged and later convicted of selling drugs. Sowder also received a 10-year suspended sentence to the Department of Corrections.

The Rendezvous Lounge in Bigfork has since closed.
