BOZEMAN — Montana State quarterback Dakota Prukop has been named the Big Sky Conference offensive player of the week for the second week in a row and for the third time this season.

The sophomore from Austin, Texas, piled up 509 yards in total offense and accounted for six touchdowns in the Bobcats’ 77-37 win at UC Davis, where his father Tim Prukop played linebacker from 1985-87.

Prukop passed for 361 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 148 yards and two more scores.

MSU finished the game with a school record 737 yards in total offense and the 77 points were the most scored by the Bobcats against a Division I opponent.

North Dakota linebacker Dayo Idowu was named the defensive player of the week while teammate Alex Tillman earned special teams honors as UND rallied from a 13-3 halftime deficit to beat Portland State 24-16.
