Cat Congregation

9:05 a.m. A woman on Whitefish Stage reported that stray cats have been congregating in her yard.

9:53 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that he has only been in his rental for three weeks and his landlord is already trying to evict him.

10:10 a.m. A kid fight was broken up on Ridgewood Drive.

11:12 a.m. A yellow lab was taken to the animal shelter after eating a Rhodes Draw resident’s garbage.

11:46 a.m. Teenaged girls were seen drinking Bud Light in the back of a pickup in a Kalispell parking lot.

2:24 p.m. A dog was spotted running along Highway 93 South.

2:42 p.m. A Kalispell woman was assaulted by her grandma.

3:40 p.m. Someone called 911 after spotting a chocolate lab on Highway 93 South.

4:16 p.m. The new bartender of a Hungry Horse establishment reported that a man who claimed to represent both the former bartender and the town of Hungry Horse told her that she was in a “world of hurt” and that “the bar would never be the same.”

5:20 p.m. A young boy on Birch Drive was seen swinging a cat around by the tail. He tossed the cat and ran off when he realized he was being watched.

9:38 p.m. Someone reported that eight drunken drivers sped into a Bigfork parking lot at a high rate of speed. At the time of the call the drivers were out, milling around among the cars. A deputy determined that none were intoxicated.
