Dynamite Stash

6:46 a.m. A Coram woman reported seeing flashlights and suspicious activity her neighbor’s house. The neighbor, however, was home and nothing suspicious had occurred.

7:33 a.m. A Columbia Falls man found the chainsaw that his friend had recently “borrowed” at a local pawn shop.

8:13 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident complained that the neighbor placed some kind of barrier across their driveway.

8:20 a.m. A dog was spotted on Middle Road.

8:50 a.m. A runaway two-year-old was found walking to his grandpa’s house.

9:28 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that someone broke into their dynamite stash.

10:16 a.m. One lone, stray bulldog was spotted wandering down Eden Court.

11:18 a.m. Items were reported stolen from a Kalispell food pantry.

11:20 a.m. Two happy and oblivious Labrador retrievers were seen running down Airport Road.

12:04 p.m. Reportedly, dogs howl day and night on Foothill Road.

3:04 p.m. A report was made about four “fairly large” loose goats that were grazing perilously close to Highway 93 near Whitefish.

3:11 p.m. Someone ran into a pole on First Avenue West in Kalispell.

3:54 p.m. A wallet was reported stolen out of an unlocked van parked on Eighth Avenue East.

8:27 p.m. A man called from East Evergreen Drive claiming that someone shot at his truck with a BB gun.

9:10 p.m. Someone on Lore Lake Road reported watching a man consume excessive amounts of alcohol, momentarily “freak out,” then drive off in a big pickup.
