Community Thanksgiving Dinners Across the Flathead

Free local events to join fellow residents during the holiday

If you’re alone on Thanksgiving or don’t want to go through the hassle of preparing a turkey with all the trimmings, free dinners will be available across the region on Thursday.

Thursday, Nov. 27, 11 a.m – 2 p.m.

Traditional Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings.

There is no charge for the dinner but financial donations are most welcomed and appreciated. If you would like to make a donation, request a ride or dinner delivery call 883-4735.
Pocketstone Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Thursday, Nov. 27, 11 a.m., Pocketstone Café, Bigfork

444 Electric Avenue in Bigfork Village. Call 837-7223 for reservations.

The Pocketstone Cafe in Bigfork will host its Fifth Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Free to all who come, the Pocketstone welcomes those who cannot or would prefer not to celebrate Thanksgiving on their own.

All are welcome, but the cafe requests that those who would like to attend call for reservations (837-7223) as seating is limited.

There will be no charge for the meal. Food preparation, serving and cleanup is done by community volunteers and the food is donated by the Cafe and its suppliers. For those who are able and choose to contribute, a donation jar will be available. All contributions will be given to the Bigfork Food Pantry to kick off its Christmas season.

Three seatings on Thanksgiving Day will be at 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. If space is available, walk-ins will be accommodated between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Sykes Free Community Thanksgiving

Thursday, Nov. 27, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sykes, 202 Second Ave. W., Kalispell

A long-running tradition in the valley, Sykes is offering free Thanksgiving dinner to residents in valley. Last year roughly 900 people attended the event, which includes a free meal. Those who cannot make the event can have one delivered, too. Donations are still being accepted to help cover the cost of this community event.
