Drunken Shopping

6:01 a.m. A resident on Shadow Lane woke to find that someone had gone through his vehicle. Nothing had been taken.

6:11 a.m. Numerous vehicles on Cooperative Way had been rummaged through during the night. The only thing missing was an owner’s manual to a Hummer, but it was located a short time later.

6:45 a.m. Someone found a bag of gloves and a black briefcase on Shadow Lane.

6:48 a.m. A gun and a wallet were stolen out of a vehicle on Margrethe Road.

7:29 a.m. A Martin City man reported that someone broke into his garage and stole his rifle.

9:07 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that he loaned his wife’s Lexus to a friend and now it’s gone. It was last seen a week ago and is presumed to be stolen.

10:15 a.m. A Kila woman informed law enforcement that a hound dog and shepherd just ran across her property in pursuit of deer.

10:43 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman complained that the neighbor’s chocolate labs were out again.

11:20 a.m. Someone reported that a woman parked her SUV, got out, chugged a beer, and wandered into T.J. Maxx.

12:37 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her 12-year-old son has “stolen” her iPad numerous times and taken it to school. She hoped a deputy might talk to him.

1:09 p.m. A man called in claiming that another man was chasing him with something he called an “inhibitor launcher.”

1:27 p.m. A North Cedar Drive resident reported that the neighbor’s yorkies were out again and chasing her cat.

1:57 p.m. Cows were seen standing on Echo Lake Road.

2:11 p.m. A local man believes he may have been scammed out of a large sum of money by a man claiming to be a real estate agent.

6:59 p.m. A report was made about a suspicious “Scoobie Doo” type van parked in a lot off of Highway 35 in Kalispell.

8:26 p.m. A drunken, camouflaged man was seen wandering along the side of Highway 2 East.

9:08 p.m. Drunken kids were seen stumbling down Wishart Road in Columbia Falls. A deputy picked up one adult and gave him a ride home.

11:09 p.m. Reportedly, three people were in a public restroom on Shady Lane smoking something that was presumed to be meth.
