UM’s Wagenmann, Hermanson on AP All-America Team

The 6-3, 255-pound native of Missoula finished the past season with 22.5 tackles for loss

MISSOULA — Montana senior defensive lineman Zack Wagenmann has been named to The Associated Press FCS All-America first team.

The 6-3, 255-pound native of Missoula finished the past season with 22.5 tackles for loss, 17.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and 74 total tackles.

He was named the Big Sky’s MVP on defense.

Joining Wagenmann on the AP All-America team was senior free safety Matt Hermanson, who was named to the third team.

The 6-1, 202-pound Hermanson led the Big Sky with six interceptions and was Montana’s third leading tackler with 109.
