Billings Man Charged with Beating Nuns Pleads Guilty

Christopher Pine pleaded guilty on Thursday to three counts of felony robbery and one count of felony intimidation

BILLINGS — A 33-year-old man accused in home invasion attacks on three Billings women has pleaded guilty to four of eight charges against him.

Christopher Pine pleaded guilty on Thursday to three counts of felony robbery and one count of felony intimidation. His victims included two retired nuns.

According to the Billings Gazette , prosecutors say they won’t ask for a sentence of more than 60 years in prison.

Pine broke into a woman’s house and robbed her on Aug. 13, 2013. The next night he broke into a home where two retired nuns were living and stomped and beat them. Both nuns were treated for serious injuries. Credit cards were taken in both robberies.
