Residents Enjoy ‘Chocolat Affair’ in Downtown Kalispell

More than 800 residents enjoyed an evening of chocolate and refreshments in downtown

More than 800 residents enjoyed an evening of chocolate and refreshments throughout downtown Kalispell on Feb. 6, with several businesses taking part in the annual Chocolat Affair event.

“Many thanks and congratulations to all of the chocolatiers for providing chocolate samples to all of the participants,” said Pam Carbonari, coordinator of the Kalispell Business Improvement District and Kalispell Downtown Association.

Here are the results:

Professional

1st place – Glacier Perks located at The Find & Flathead Shooter’s Supply for their Chocolate espresso brownies with dark chocolate ganache

2nd place – John’s Angel Catering located at Fawn Boutique for their Mimossa Chocolate

3rd place – Big Mountain Candy Company located at The Bookshelf for their Salted chocolate carmels

Amateur

1st place – Alisha Ramsey located at Flowers by Hansen for the Heavenly Mint Cake

2nd place – Lindsey Wilson located at The Flathead Beacon for the Salted chocolate truffle

3rd place – Lindsey Wilson located at The Flathead Beacon for the Dark chocolate salted carmel
