BOZEMAN — Longtime Montana State offensive line coach Jason McEndoo has accepted a coaching position at Oklahoma State.

McEndoo has been with the Bobcats since 2003, helped the team to five Big Sky Conference championships and coached seven All-Americans including Jeff Bolton, who won the 2005 Rimington Award as the best center in NCAA Division I-AA. He also coached Mike Person, who was picked in the seventh-round of the 2011 NFL draft who played for the St. Louis Rams last season.

MSU coach Rob Ash says McEndoo has been a powerful influence on the coaching staff, is an incredible recruiter and one of the finest game-day adjusters he’s ever seen.

McEndoo was named the 2012 assistant football coach of the year by the American Football Coaches Association.

He says he’s grateful to have coached at MSU and is excited about his new opportunity at Oklahoma State. His role with the team hasn’t been determined.
