MISSOULA — Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton is reviewing an altercation that followed the conference semifinal game between Montana and Northern Arizona.

Montana won the game 61-59 Friday on a layup with 0.4 seconds left.

After the game had ended, there was pushing and shoving as the head coaches and teams started to shake hands.

In a statement issued late Friday, Fullerton says his initial review of the incident found no punches thrown. He complimented players with both teams for trying to control the situation.

Fullerton also determined that Montana coach Travis DeCuire acted appropriately.

However, the statement says the conduct of Northern Arizona coach Jack Murphy is still under review.

Montana advanced to the championship game on Saturday night against Eastern Washington.
