FWP Seeking Information on Vandalism at Woods Lake Trailhead

Vandals shot signs and caused extensive damage to infrastructure at along Whitefish Trail

Vandals in early April caused extensive damage to infrastructures along the Whitefish Trail northwest of Whitefish.

Signs were shot and pulled from the ground with a vehicle and a message kiosk was cut down with a chainsaw, according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

This damage occurred at the Woods Lake Trailhead and the North Beaver Connection.

Anyone with any information on this case is encouraged to call 1-800-TIP MONT. Callers do not have to identify themselves and a reward may be available for information leading to a conviction.
