Incumbents Reelected in Flathead Electric Cooperative Election

More than 6,500 ballots were received in the annual election

The three incumbents running for another term on the Flathead Electric Cooperative board of trustees were all re-elected on April 10.

According to a press release from the cooperative, more than 6,500 ballots were received in the annual election.

The nine-person board of trustees helps run the cooperative and each one serves a three-year term.

In District 2, Emery Smith was reelected with 3,552 votes versus challenger Muffie Thompson who gathered 2,669 votes. In District 5, Alan Ruby got 3,705 votes versus Sheri Glaspey who got 2,548. And in District 3 Jay Downen ran unopposed.
