BILLINGS — Three men were injured in an explosion at a Billings residence that police say may be drug-related.

Capt. John Bedford tells The Billings Gazette that officers executing a search warrant at the residence found drugs and drug paraphernalia.

He says officers haven’t determined the cause of Wednesday morning’s blast, but suspect it was drug-related. Officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are expected to be in Billings on Thursday to help with the investigation.

The newspaper reports the three men appeared to have suffered burns in the explosion, which damaged the back wall of the house and blew out second-story windows.
