Frenchtown Wins Third Straight Softball Title

Ray led Frenchtown to a 11-1 victory over Belgrade

Morgan Ray and the Frenchtown Lady Broncs were unstoppable.

Ray, an Ohio State recruit, led Frenchtown to a 11-1 victory over Belgrade in the Class A softball state championship game on Saturday in Anaconda.

Ray also knocked in two runs and at one point struck out six consecutive batters. She allowed only three hits and no earned runs.

Belgrade defeated Polson in the third-place game 13-7 to advance to the championship.
