HELENA — The 92-year-old Seeley Lake man who died after the car he was driving collided with a dump truck has been identified.

Missoula County Sheriff Deputy Coroner Mike Dominick said Thursday Paul John Gawle died when his car was hit by a dump truck.

Gawle was driving a Subaru Legacy Tuesday afternoon when he pulled out in front of a dump truck that was headed south on Montana Highway 83 south of Seeley Lake.

Gawle was not wearing a seat belt. The 59-year-old dump truck driver from Bonner was not injured.

Montana Highway Patrol officials say neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash.
