Police Looking For Man Who Shot Woman at Marion Bar

30-year-old Bigfork woman was shot in the arm shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday

A Bigfork woman was shot in the arm early Sunday morning and police are now looking for the man who allegedly pulled the trigger.

According to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry, deputies responded to a report of shooting outside the Rail Line Tavern in Marion shortly after 2 a.m. on June 14. When they arrived they found a 30-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her arm. According to witnesses, the shooting happened after an altercation developed between several people in the parking lot after the bar closed. The shooter, a man with a handgun, left the scene before police arrived.

The victim was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center and was later transported to a hospital in Seattle for additional surgery. She is currently in stable condition.

Police are now trying to determine who pulled the trigger and Curry said they have not identified a suspect.
