Missing Chickens

6:33 a.m. A woman reported that her mother’s neighbor’s dog attacked her yesterday, forcing her to protect herself with a rake.

8:26 a.m. A woman on Rockwood Drive is missing several chickens and believes her neighbors have something to do with it. After closer investigation, it was determined that the chickens were more likely to have been taken by the local predators.

10:07 a.m. A Somers resident complained that a “little yapper” had been on his front porch all morning. It was picked up and returned to its owner.

10:21 a.m. An Ardell Drive resident reported that the neighbor’s dog is always loose and earlier this morning it chased another neighbor lady down the street.

11:08 a.m. Someone reported that a green Suburban was speeding at approximately 100 mph down Highway 93 South near Whitefish.

12:03 p.m. A Whitefish man reported that his landlord’s boyfriend threatened to evict him after accusing him of scribbling on his vehicle.

3:05 p.m. A resident on Wyndover Hill Drive complained that someone ran over his mailbox a few hours ago.

4:32 p.m. A Whitefish man reported that the meddlesome neighbor woman has been harassing his friends and family over his driving habits. He also believes she may be targeting him at the neighborhood watch meeting she recently organized.

6:31 p.m. A discussion about several types of berry pies was overheard during an accidental call to 911.

8:22 p.m. A woman in Bigfork claimed that a drunken woman grabbed her face. She did not need medical attention.

8:45 p.m. Two drunken men were seen “beating on each other” at Presentine Bar.

10:36 p.m. A Marion man called 911 to report that he was harassed at the bar, but refused to say what happened or who was doing the harassing.
