Mailbox Destruction

7:50 a.m. Someone called in after finding five slain geese on Montford Road.

9:42 a.m. A “Sunnyslope” sign was reported stolen from an intersection in Lakeside. The caller is highly suspicious that whoever stole this sign is the same thief who stole the other missing sign.

9:46 a.m. Someone called from Bigfork to report that someone had left a scooter on the side of Grand Drive. The caller hypothesized that it was stolen or maybe the driver was intoxicated and wrecked it there.

11:19 a.m. A Somers resident reported that their neighbor has not upheld the neighborhood covenant regarding loose dogs and screamed profanities at her after she confronted him about it. He claimed that she threatened his dog’s life. They were counseled regarding their behavior.

12:07 p.m. A man was heard asking the “dude” at the McDonald’s drive through for extra onions during an accidental call to 911.

12:18 p.m. A Mission Way resident reported that his mailbox was severely damaged and lying on the ground. He stated that there were other battered mailboxes scattered about the neighborhood as well.

12:31 p.m. Two additional mailboxes were in need of attention on Country Way.

1:41 p.m. A Chihuahua-type of animal was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.

3:22 p.m. A woman reported that a man cussed at her and urinated on her garbage cans.

7:52 p.m. A Kalispell woman reported that a man claiming to be from a local cable company called to schedule an appointment to come to her house and discuss with her all of the X-rated movies she and her family watches. The cable company denied the call and she adamantly denied watching such movies.
