The newest work in oils by Susan Fletcher

By Beacon Staff

Susan Fletcher’s exhibit “Backlit” opens at Stumptown Art Studio with a reception on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It coincides with the Whitefish Gallery Night, which includes 11 other galleries as well. This show is on display until Sept. 1.

“Backlit” is the newest work in oils by Fletcher, an impressionist painter.

Fletcher presently serves on the board of Stumptown Art Studio. Because of her strong belief in supporting art opportunities in the community, Susan will be donating 100 percent of the purchased price of her signature piece, Cottonwood Illuminated to the Whitefish Community Foundation as seed money for an endowment for Stumptown Art Studio.

Stumptown Art Studio is located at 145 Central Avenue in Whitefish. For more information please stop by, call 406-862-5929 or visit the website at www.stumptownartstudio.org
