Columbia Falls House Fire Victims Identified

Cause of yesterday’s fatal fire still under investigation

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people who were killed in a house fire near Columbia Falls on Monday.

Brittany Kayleen Ince, 30, and her son Gavin Thomas Henrichon, 3, died in the fire at on Trumble Creek Road. Two other people escaped the fire unharmed.

The fire was reported near the intersection of Montana Highway 40 and Trumble Creek Road at about 9:25 a.m. By the time firefighters arrived, the two-story home was engulfed in flames. Firefighters from Columbia Falls, Whitefish, Bad Rock, West Valley and Evergreen responded to the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
