Glacier 15U All-Stars Raising Funds for World Series Trip

To help pay for the trip, the organization is raising funds with an online donation page and a spaghetti feed

The Glacier 15U all-stars captured the Babe Ruth Pacific Northwest Regional Championship last weekend and earned a bid to the World Series in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

The team, made up of players from Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Bigfork, leaves early Aug. 11 for the 10-team tournament, which runs Aug. 13-20.

To help pay for the trip, the organization is raising funds with an online donation page and a spaghetti feed at Sapa Johnsrud Memorial Field in Columbia Falls.

The spaghetti feed is Aug. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Players will serve community members who attend. A $10 donation is suggested. Food is being provided by Tien Windauer of Tien’s in Columbia Falls.

A GoFundMe page was also established to help raise funds.
