Ukulele Man

9:02 a.m. Someone driving down Shady Lane complained that two teenaged boys were on the side of the road, pretending to jump out in front of vehicles. They were told to stay out of the road.

9:17 a.m. An elderly woman called in to thank the office who stopped to help her tie her shoes.

10:10 a.m. Two runaway horses were spotted on North Hilltop Road in Columbia Falls.

10:32 a.m. Someone on Sunset Drive spotted two suspicious men standing on the side of the road. One of them was using a broken golf club to scratch himself.

12:13 p.m. Someone driving down Highway 2 East reported that a man carrying a ukulele was walking down the meridian. The caller suspected that the ukulele man must be on drugs, because “nobody does that.”

2:22 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident, who was planning to go out of town, asked that a deputy patrol the neighborhood during the time he planned to be gone. He was especially concerned about the destructive activities of his neighbors.

8:56 p.m. A Coram resident complained that he has received forty texts in the last couple of hours from an unknown number.

9:07 p.m. A resident on Haven Drive reported that the neighbor used his garbage can.

10:53 p.m. A handful of people wearing headlamps were seen dumpster diving at a local green box site.
