On Friday, Sept. 18, join local musicians Kyle Dean and Amelia Riley Thornton for the release of their first album, “Clouds Roll By.”
The party will take place at the Great Northern Bar in Whitefish, where the band will play a free show, sell CDs, and sign merchandise.
A country-folk duo, Dean and Riley met up while working summers in the Swan. Their sound earned them a spot in the top five finalists for the Zoo Music Awards in Missoula, as well as a spot in the local finals at the 32nd annual Majestic Valley Arena Country Showdown.
They recorded “Clouds Roll By” at SnowGhost Studios in Whitefish.
