Uncertain Victim

10:05 a.m. A man called from Columbia Falls to report that he had just been punched in the face by a bearded man inflicted with road rage. He did not need medical assistance.

10:30 a.m. A lanky fugitive-like man was spotted “crawling” out of his pickup in front of a saloon in Hungry Horse. A deputy determined that he was not a fugitive.

10:39 a.m. A wayward border collie on Cheery Lynn Road was picked up and taken to the animal shelter.

11:06 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman found her runaway husky.

11:23 a.m. A man who was riding his bike down Collier Lane claimed that a resident there ran out and yelled that he was going to kill the bicyclist and bury him in his backyard. Apparently, the excitable resident was concerned due to recent thefts.

1:35 p.m. A Lakeside resident found a friendly peacock in his yard.

2:25 p.m. A lost Chihuahua was recovered and reunited with its owner.

4:35 p.m. A Kalispell woman claimed that someone attempted to break into her shipping container.

6:05 p.m. A local man reported that $10 and something, he didn’t know what, had been stolen out of his backpack. He was advised to call back when he knew what had been taken.

6:54 p.m. A resident on Ridgewood Drive reported that all of his PlayStations had been stolen.

7:47 p.m. A known chicken killer was spotted on Lindsey Road.
