Undesirable Swap

7:05 a.m. Someone driving down Whalebone Drive reported that a man was standing in the middle of the road, surrounded by scattered garbage, clothes, and other household items. Things were cleaned up and the man was gone when a deputy arrived.

8:43 a.m. A resident on Plentywood Drive reported that someone stole his bicycle, but left another less desirable one in its place.

12:31 p.m. Someone saw an 18-wheeler run a red light in front of the Super One.

2:46 p.m. A Willow Glen Drive resident found that during the night someone had destroyed the lid to her septic system and defecated in her yard.

5:05 p.m. A Whitefish resident called in to state that he had been watching a man with his binoculars. Apparently, the man looked disheveled and was having a difficult time making his way on foot down Highway 93 West.

6:25 p.m. A ten-year-old boy was seen driving at excessive speeds down Helena Flats Road.

8:26 p.m. A Kings Way resident wanted to know what would happen, legally, if he went ahead and shot his neighbor’s dog.

9:45 p.m. Someone who nearly hit a boy on Helena Flats Road complained that the boy and two others were leaping out of ditches and playing “chicken” with passing cars.
