Fugitive Goats

9:19 a.m. A woman on Twin Acres Drive warned that she would end the life of the yapping dog that lives behind her house if someone else didn’t take care of it first.

10:28 a.m. A resident on South Cedar Drive has video footage of the thief who stole the front wheel off of his vehicle.

12:21 p.m. Someone in a green Subaru was seen driving in a sporadic fashion through the Hungry Horse area.

12:48 p.m. A Whitefish resident complained that an evasive pot-bellied pig was in his yard, eating apples. He requested help in catching the stealthy animal, but was advised that law enforcement does not deal with pigs.

2:39 p.m. Someone spotted a handful of runaway goats hiding in a ditch off of Highway 93 South near Whitefish.

3:09 p.m. A man who was described to be “furtive” in appearance was spotted climbing a hill in Somers. A deputy found the man and determined that nothing illegal or suspicious had occurred.

4:11 p.m. Someone reported that a gang of teenagers were smoking pot under a bridge near the railroad.

5:20 p.m. Reportedly, thirty high-school aged kids were smoking cigarettes in front of a gas station on Highway 35 in Bigfork. They all got into their vehicles and “scattered” shortly after the call.

6:36 p.m. A shirtless man in camouflaged pants was seen sprinting down Highway 2 West near Columbia Falls.
