Experts to Discuss Montana Wolf Populations at FVCC

The talk is the last in the series Wildlife & Humans Together in the 21st Century

Internationally renowned wolf experts Dr. Douglas Smith of Yellowstone National Park and Dr. Robert Ream, long-time professor at the University of Montana, will give a joint presentation on the history of wolf management in Yellowstone National Park and Northwest Montana.

The two wolf experts will discuss wolf biology and trace the wolf recovery in both areas over the recent decades. The presentation is Thursday, Dec. 3, 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The talk is the last in the series, “Wildlife & Humans Together in the 21st Century,” presented from July through December at Flathead Valley Community College.

The talk will begin at 7 p.m. and will take place in the large community meeting room inside the Arts & Technology building on FVCC’s Kalispell campus.
