Man Dies in Interstate 90 Crash Near Bonner

Man's eastbound pickup went off the road and into the median just before 8 a.m. Saturday

MISSOULA – A 68-year-old Missoula man has died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 just east of Bonner.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man’s eastbound pickup went off the road and into the median just before 8 a.m. Saturday. The pickup traveled in the median for several hundred feet before hitting the boundary fence between two bridge decks. The patrol says his pickup vaulted over the fence and landed on its roof on the private access road below.

Trooper Carl Ward tells the Missoulian the patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.

The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
