A husband-wife team in Whitefish has opened a new Mexican restaurant along U.S. Highway 93. La Cocina Feliz opened last month at 250 East Second Street. Chris and Feliz McWhirter lived in California before moving to the Flathead Valley a decade ago, where Chris worked for the Whitefish Police Department for a number of years.
The restaurant features Mexican favorites like tacos, burritos, and more. Entrée prices range from $10 to $15. The restaurant is located at 250 E. Second St. where Quickee Sandwich Shop once was and the interior of the building has been completely remodeled.
