7:46 a.m. A Columbia Falls resident found what might have been a “firework device,” but looked more like a grenade. He was hoping a deputy would check it out. A deputy did and surmised that the device was actually an exploded firework.

8:45 a.m. Reportedly, it looked as though someone hid a busted up maroon truck under a tarp in Somers. Apparently, there was also a bike nearby. It was probably stolen.

11:50 a.m. A black lab puppy was at large in Martin City again.

12:13 p.m. Someone called from the Lone Pine Trail after witnessing a man with a pistol on his hip say “here I am, ready to kill people.” He didn’t kill anyone and was later overheard discussing firearm related bear safety with another man.

12:15 p.m. A Coram resident reported that the neighbor man cut two trees down then transported a boulder from his yard into his own.

12:21 p.m. Two small dogs were parked in a handicapped spot at a business along Highway 2 East in Kalispell.

12:43 p.m. Someone complained that an armed Marion man was waving garbage can lids and yelling at drivers on Idaho Hill Road to slow down.

4:19 p.m. An uncatchable dog was loose on Cheery Lynn Lane.

4:23 p.m. An Evergreen resident called in to discuss rumors she heard from another woman.

7:59 p.m. Someone called form Columbia Falls reporting that another man accused him of driving too fast.

8:27 p.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that the neighbor woman vandalizes her tomato plants at night.

9:07 p.m. A Somers resident complained that the neighbor routinely dumps pig urine out onto his property.

11:12 p.m. A woman on Aero Lane in Bigfork reported that the neighbors were outside shooting guns in an effort to scare off a grizzly and her two cubs. She worried that the bears or people might get shot.
