Join more than 100 vendors and artisans in Polson offering up their wares in homage to one of the Flathead’s favorite summer gems, the cherry.

The Flathead Cherry Festival takes place on Polson’s Main Street July 16 and 17, and will feature cherry-themed arts and crafts, various Montana-made products, and of course, sweet, fresh produce from local cherry orchards.

Games for adults and children include pie-eating contests, pit-spitting, and judging the most unique dish made with Flathead cherries. The Great Scotts Bagpipers will entertain festival goers on Saturday afternoon. Cherry-themed aprons will be on display throughout Main Street storefronts giving the public a chance to view and vote for their favorite hand-crafted apron.
