Bird Theft

9:57 a.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that someone has been using her Herberger’s card.

10:20 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman reported that someone accused her of stealing another woman’s birds. This, according to her, is not true. She did not steal anyone’s birds.

1:19 p.m. A Somers man received a call from someone who asked him to open all his windows because he had won a prize.

1:47 p.m. A woman ended up with a “lump” on her eye after fighting a drunken woman in Martin City.

2:11 p.m. A Marion woman complained that the neighbor’s aggressive dog is a constant problem.

2:26 p.m. A stray, but friendly boxer was spotted on Conrad Drive.

3:11 p.m. Someone reported that a Flathead County resident stole her dog four years ago.

3:34 p.m. Someone saw a lethargic black dog lying under a billboard near Highway 2 West. It eventually got up and wandered away.

4:08 p.m. A report was made regarding people who may or may not have been doing drugs under a bridge on Highway 2 West.

6:16 p.m. A report was made regarding a woman in a Subaru who was drinking something out of a paper bag. The caller thinks it was probably alcohol.

7:12 p.m. A woman on Mission Trail reported that a strange man in a Jeep asked if she had small children he could talk to. He then told her that he was in her neighborhood because he had tracked his laptop to her general location.

7:29 p.m. Deputies stood by for a sensitive TV transaction that took place on Bigfork Stage.
