2:52 a.m. A newspaper delivery driver reported finding a large garbage bag splattered with blood on Ranch Lane. A sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene and found that the bag was full of deer guts.
5:12 a.m. Some loggers working along the South Fork Road found a man in a truck parked in the bushes. When they woke him up, the man looked at them and then went back to sleep. The loggers were concerned for the man’s safety since the truck was running.
