Stuck Dump Truck

8:46 a.m. A barge operator on Flathead Lake called to report that a customer of his never paid him for his services.

1:13 p.m. A Kalispell woman pocket dialed 911. When 911 dispatchers called back to see if there was a problem, the woman said she had been having problems with pocket dials and was going to AT&T to deal with it.

2:34 p.m. A dump truck was stuck in the middle of Highway 35 near Bigfork. Because the battery was dead, the driver was unable to turn on the flashers, causing even more traffic issues.

3:24 p.m. A concerned citizen called from a local pumpkin patch about a 6-month-old toddler locked in a car. As the dispatcher advised the caller about what to do, the mother of the child came back to the vehicle and an argument about the child’s safety ensued.

3:27 p.m. A Kalispell resident called police asking for additional patrols in their neighborhood because students from a nearby elementary school were rummaging through parked cars after school every afternoon.

7:31 p.m. A Kalispell resident called police because they were concerned about a Craigslist ad they saw looking for local adult film actors and actresses.
