Kalispell Chamber Recruiting Small Business Saturday Participants

The event promotes supporting the small, local businesses

By Beacon Staff

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is recruiting local businesses for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the event promotes supporting the small, local businesses that help create jobs, boost the economy, and invigorate neighborhoods across Kalispell and the Flathead Valley.

This will be the fifth year the Kalispell Chamber has organized the event, and each year the lineup of participants expands, having grown to include over 80 Kalispell businesses in 2015. This year also marks the second year of a collaborative event partnership among other local chambers. The chambers in Bigfork, Columbia Falls, Lakeside and Somers, and Whitefish are all hosting the event in their respective communities, collectively promoting valley-wide effort to shop small this year.

Participation in Small Business Saturday is free. Businesses registered with the Kalispell Chamber will receive free marketing materials such as shop small bags, posters and window decorations, and will be included in a variety of print and digital marketing efforts.

To be included in the print advertising for this event, the last day to sign up a business is Friday, Nov. 4.

To sign up as part of the Kalispell shop small effort, please call the Kalispell Chamber by phone, (406) 758-2803 or e-mail, [email protected].
