Trespassing Cows

By

6:47 a.m. An out-of-town landlord called law enforcement because one of his tenants hadn’t paid his rent for a few months and he had been unable to get ahold of him. The landlord was worried about the man’s welfare. Upon further investigation, a sheriff’s deputy learned that the tenant was alive and well but didn’t have money for rent, so he’s been ignoring his landlord’s calls.

8:10 a.m. A Marion man called to report that two cows were trespassing on his property and destroying his orchard.

11:01 a.m. A Kalispell man called 911 to report that he lost power at his house and that he needed help setting up generators so he could keep posting things on the Internet.

7:30 p.m. A concerned citizen reported that three people were seen atop the Evergreen school district administrative office and that they did not look like maintenance people. Upon further investigation, a student had thrown a classmate’s backpack on the roof and they were retrieving it.
