Rogue Birdwatcher

By

1:11 a.m. A local hotel manager thought that 1:11 a.m. was the perfect time to call the cops and let them know that they’re doing a fine job protecting the community. When the dispatcher asked if there was an emergency at that moment, the hotel manager said no and just wanted to pass along his thanks to the cops who always “get right there when needed.”

9:32 a.m. A local gas station employee called to report that two beers were stolen the previous day.

1:50 p.m. A homeowner on Creston Road was harassing a local birdwatcher. The birdwatcher called the cops to confirm that it was OK for him to enjoy his hobby from a public roadway.

3:20 p.m. A Columbia Falls man who apparently found an early happy hour passed out drunk in the middle of a parking lot.
