Rough Ride

7:42 a.m. A Kalispell woman called police because her sister is using meth.

8:02 a.m. A local man stopped by the police station to report that his pistol had been stolen. Later the gun owner called police to report that he had actually just misplaced it.

8:52 a.m. A Whitefish woman reported that a toolbox, jacket, rope and $500 cash were stolen out of her unlocked truck the previous night.

11:07 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that he had found the vehicle that had been stolen from him the night before. He said he needed help from law enforcement to retrieve it because he didn’t have a license.

11:20 a.m. A Kalispell man put up no trespassing signs after another man kept walking through his property. However, those signs were not enough of a deterrent because the trespasser just ripped them down and kept going on his merry way.

12:04 a.m. Some Helena Flats Road chickens were found dead. The primary suspects are three local dogs.

12:29 p.m. Drama arose over the sale of some Girl Scout cookies.

1:22 p.m. Five horses were running down Trumble Creek Road. A little while later, the reporting party called back to state that two of the horses had gotten tired and now only three were running around.

4:33 p.m. Two people were screaming at each other in Evergreen.

7:16 p.m. A man driving a van peeled out of casino parking lot in Kalispell, hit the curb, blew out a tire, nailed a trashcan and then kept going.
