Law Enforcement ID Idaho Man Who Died at Yaak Falls

A 22-year-old Idaho man died on April 30 when he fell into the Yaak Falls in Lincoln County.

Sheriff Roby Bowe identified the victim as David Ramsey of Coeur d’Alene.

According to Bowe, Ramsey was taking a photo near the falls, located about six miles off U.S. Highway 2.

The incident was reported at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Sunday. Bowe said Ramsey’s body was discovered about a half-mile down stream. He said it took most of the afternoon to recover the body because of the rugged terrain.
