Montana’s independent-minded citizens are what make this state great. We judge a man by who he is, instead of which party supports his campaign. Six months ago, we decided Greg Gianforte wasn’t the right guy for us. Why? Because he’s proved himself to be one of those folks who move to Montana and want to turn it into the place they came from – starting with trying to block river access. He’s also the same Gianforte who characterized retired seniors as lazy and irreligious – and gave thousands of dollars to groups that want to privatize Social Security. A guy who’s tried to buy two elections in six months isn’t going to help “drain the swamp.” Greg Gianforte hasn’t changed, and neither should our opinion of whether he represents Montana values.
