Libby Boys Win Class B-C State Tennis Championship

Bigfork brothers Colton and Clayton Reichenbach placed fifth in doubles

The Libby Loggers successfully defended their Class B/C state tennis title last weekend in Missoula. The Loggers, led by doubles players Erik Lauer and Braydon Thom, tallied 29 points to edge Missoula Loyola and Great Falls Central by one point.

Lauer and Thom placed second in the doubles final, 6-4, 7-5. Jhamaal Sykes placed fourth in singles. Roger Mai of Great Falls Central won the individual title. David Ramsey and Fisher Richardson of Missoula Loyola won the doubles title.

Bigfork brothers Colton and Clayton Reichenbach placed fifth in doubles. Bigfork’s Alex Buenz was sixth in singles.

On the girls side, Townsend won the team title with 26 points. Bigfork’s Ahna Fox and Kalia Wicklund placed fifth in doubles and Ellie Berreth placed fifth in singles.
