Deadline to Run for Troy Mayor June 19

Darren Coldwell was recently hired as Lincoln County administrator but will serve out the rest of his term

Anyone interested in running to be mayor of Troy has until June 19 to apply, according to the Lincoln County Clerk and Recorder.

Troy’s current mayor, Darren Coldwell, was recently hired as Lincoln County administrator but will serve out the rest of his term leading the small town on the Montana-Idaho border. Coldwell previously owned Booze N’ Bait, a liquor and sporting goods store in Troy. He was elected mayor in 2013.

People interested have until June 19 at 5 p.m. to drop off an application at the Lincoln County election department offices in Libby.
