Helicopter Problems

6:56 a.m. A Kalispell woman woke up to a mysterious light on her house. Turns out a local construction crew was setting up floodlights.

8:38 a.m. Two Kalispell men thought it would be a fun idea to trade hunting dogs for the season. The idea was working perfectly until one of the dogs ran off. One of the men wanted help from Animal Control to catch the animal.

11:40 a.m. A Whitefish resident reported that their sunglasses had been stolen.

11:46 a.m. A Bigfork dog was accused of murdering two chickens and chasing a deer. The Animal Control office set a trap for the animal and gave its owner a citation. The owner of the dearly departed chickens was asking for $90 in restitution.

11:53 a.m. A man walked into a gas station, stole a 30-pack of beer and walked out. He was last seen sitting under a tree enjoying one of the beverages.

11:59 a.m. An Evergreen bar owner called police because a motorhome had mysteriously showed up in the parking lot.

12:27 p.m. A Kila dog was chasing cats and threatening chickens.

1:23 p.m. A West Glacier man sold his car to another man who decided not to take the plates off. Now the vehicle’s new owner was getting into trouble, much to the dismay of the previous owner.

1:31 p.m. A West Glacier resident was complaining about a “reckless” helicopter.

4:00 p.m. A Whitefish woman called police because her husband was missing. She called soon after to say she found him.

4:12 p.m. A dog was barking on the old Rusty Trail.

4:36 p.m. “A bunch of people” were shooting guns.

4:49 p.m. A Kila man called police because a dog had been sitting on the porch for most of the day.
