Sophomore wrestler Tilynne Vasquez added another trophy to her growing collection, taking home the 108-pound girls championship at the Flo Reno Worlds, April 6-8 in Reno, Nevada.

Vasquez, competing for the Kalispell Wrestling Club, pinned Aubrey Navarro to win the title match on Sunday. During the prep season, she finished fourth in Class AA at the state meet in February, the best finish for a girl in Montana history. Vasquez is also the defending Cadet Pan-American Games champion.

In May, Vasquez will compete at the United World Wrestling championships in an effort to once again qualify for the USA Wrestling national team. Were she to do so, she would have a chance later this summer to defend her Pan-Am Games title.
