Make it three races and three first-place finishes for Flathead High School’s speedy duo of Tori Noland-Gillespie and Ben Perrin, both of whom crossed the line first at the Sentinel Invitational cross country race in Missoula on Sept. 13.

Noland-Gillespie, just a sophomore, traversed the 5K course in 19:46.66, five seconds ahead of Missoula Sentinel’s Brooke Stayner. The Bravettes comfortably won the team title behind Noland-Gillespie and top-10 efforts from Meaghan Fisher (4th), Sadie Wilson (7th), Hannah Perrin (8th) and Hailey Allen (10th). Glacier’s Kinzie Peterson finished third.

Perrin cruised in the boys race with a time of 15:29.07. The senior was the only runner to finish in under 16 minutes. Glacier’s Aren Alexander-Battee and Simon Hill were second and third, respectively, and the Wolfpack placed second as a team. Flathead was third.
